KCP INTERVIEWER

Unstructured interviews are known to be poor predictors of job performance.  However, research consistently shows that structured, behavioural interviews can have much higher predictive validity.

The KCP Interviewer has been designed to generate structured, behavioural questions that can help explore up to 18 areas of competence.

These competencies include those that are frequently found in modern competency frameworks in the areas of:

·                                     Interpersonal competence

·                         Task performance competence

·                         Personal competence

In addition to the structured, behavioural questions presented in the report, you will find descriptions of behavioural indicators.  These will help you identify both positive and negative examples in the candidate’s responses.

It is helpful to review the positives and negatives and arrive at a rating on each area of competence.  This will facilitate comparisons between candidates.
