Rebranding of products

Coming up with a name for a new test or questionnaire is almost as time consuming as developing the instrument!

We certainly agonised all those years ago over a name for MAPP.

Over time, we have come to the conclusion that KCP needs to carry out some judicious rebranding to make our offerings more immediately obvious in terms of what they do.

To this end, certain products have received a name change:

  • Roberts Type Questionnaire becomes Personality Preferences Profiler.

  • Roberts Personality and Motivation Questionnaire becomes Personality and Motivation Profiler.

  • Team Survey Questionnaire becomes Team Effectiveness Profiler.

  • Leisure Services Questionnaire becomes Leisure Services Profiler.

  • Career Interests Questionnaire becomes Work Preferences Profiler.

  • Influencing Styles Questionnaire becomes Influencing Styles Profiler.

  • Personal Adaptability Questionnaire becomes Personal Adaptability Profiler.

None of these name changes affects the content of the questionnaire concerned.
However, users of KCP's online assessment services will be issued with new Reference Numbers and Candidate Instructions to reflect these changes.
In the meanwhile, your existing logins will still work, but will be discontinued following completion of the rebranding process.

Level A and B Revisions
The BPS has still not announced a date for the transfer from the existing Level A and B guidelines to the new European model.
This suggests that the transition arrangements, namely a continuation of offering Level A and B will continue for many more months.
It therefore makes sense for those who wish to gain automatic "grandparenting" to the European Register to sign up for Level A and B training now.

E-learning update
Our e-learning offerings now include BPS Test Administration, Level A and B, Behavioural Interviewing Skills, and our latest programme, Assessment Centre Techniques.
All 5 courses allow delegates to complete their courses anytime, anywhere in the world.
We have a special Spring 2011 offer at the moment.  Our E-learning Bundle includes Level A and B, Behavioural Interviewing Skills, and Assessment Centre Techniques at a special discounted rate of £3,000 (normal price £3,300.
Call or email Cathy for the latest e-learning brochure and to book places.

Team Effectiveness
In the course of the past 12 months, we have seen a marked increase in the use of our Team Effectiveness Profiler (formally the artist known as the Team Survey Questionnaire).
This growth appears to have stemmed from the economic turmoil, with clients using the TEP in situations where teams have been re-formed; where teams are performing below par; and where organisational change such as ownership has led to a need to review team goals.
Unlike most team questionnaires, such as Belbin, TMS etc, the TEP is not based on individual styles, but on the key elements of effectiveness:

Team Leadership
Team Cohesiveness
Team Energies

If you are involved in change management or team building, do call Andy to discuss how TEP can help.
